Lamar was great to deal with. The communication was horrible from the representative I had prior. I dropped my vehicle off Friday morning at 8:30am and did not receive it back until Wednesday at 5pm. They tried blaming it on the warranty company but nothing was even "diagnosed" until Monday after 2pm. So my vehicle was kept all day Friday and over the weekend for absolutely nothing. I was told they had it hooked up to the computer trying to diagnose and would jump on it first thing Monday if I kept it there over the weekend. I had to call Monday at noon to get any answers on what was going on which is when I switched to Lamar. I was originally scheduled to bring it in 4/27 but was rescheduled due to not having technicians available, which I reminded everyone about my warranty expiring 5/2. But that seemed to be the excuse why it took so long. Nothing was even submitted to the warranty company until late Monday, so that's on Fosters. I was told my vehicle should be done Tuesday by the end of the day or Wednesday morning. I had to call multiple times Wednesday just to get an ETA. I have brought my car there multiple times for bigger issues and it has never taken this long. Service and communication has gone downhill tremendously in my opinion. I am in search of getting a newer vehicle and will not be using fosters or bringing any car there in the future. This has been an absolute joke and zero sense of urgency by anyone. No one tried to make anything right or sympathized just blamed the warranty company. I've used this warranty at Fosters MULTIPLE times and they have always gotten back quickly, my car has NEVER sat there this long.

Purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado LT certified used vehicle February 24th and since then Ive made 2 car payments and just now got it back since I've signed papers to purchase it. Clearly a thorough inspection was not done before it was placed on the lot for sale seeing as it need a front shock/strut, 2 airbag sensors in both the steering wheel and passenger front seat, ac condenser was leaking, oil cooler lines were leaking and a check engine light came on within 2 days.
I returned to dealership where they assured me the air bag sensors were just not communicating correctly and how they would fix it by wiping the warning.
2 days later the dash touch screen would auto scroll through radio stations while driving. Dropped off vehicle back to dealership where I was given a courtesy ride home but no further instructions on how long theyd have it. After calling up later that evening and subsequently going to dealership I was given a rental and told it'd be taken care of.
1 week later I'm called and told its ready, I pick it up, ran 1 errand ran and the dash screen started auto scrolling once again.
Immediately drive it back to dealership where I'm told the guy that was working on it wasn't in today and that they would give me a call the next business day to schedule work. No return call was placed.
Whilst driving that evening check engine light comes back on and there's a cylinder 7 misfire. Take it back to dealership very next morning. Diagnosed with total lifter collapse/failure. Wiped out camshaft. Almost 3 weeks later work is completed.
I pick it up Monday. The very next day while driving check engine light comes on yet again. Cylinder 7 misfire while passing a vehicle in highway.
Back to dealership yet again, diagnosed VLOM unit failed wiped out cylinder 7 lifter and cylinder 5 lifter.
I discuss my frustrations and ask why wasn't the $300 VLOM unit replaced while the engine was 3/4 torn apart when lifter collapsed the very first time. Was told extended warranty wouldn't cover it and I wasn't even called to ask if I wanted to pay out of pocket to have said repairs done while apart.
They have said vehicle for another 2 weeks making appropriate repairs. Repairs were made and I was told it was being rest driven. While test driven check engine light illuminated once again due to fuel tables being all out of wack. Raw fuel thrown down exhaust during driving while lifter failure resulted in catalytic converter failure.
Y pipe and catalytic converter replaced. Test drove and given back to me with fuel light on due to empty fuel tank.

First my idiot literally came on when driving to work and told me not to accelerate my engine and slowed me to 35. I called and pup was so good to me and got me in the next morning. Chris was there and he explained u may not have parts I understood and said I would wait . The service garage fixed it same day in 3 hours and Lamar explained everything to me they were all so kind and it all worked out. They had the parts. This is the greatest group of folks I have ever worked with! Top notch
